Magicial Kwik stop Christmas
Magical Kwik Stop Christmas will be in its 24th year of helping families in the Dubuque and tri-state area, and we are excited to be supporting 25 families this year. Over the last 23 years, with the communities support, we have helped 395 families with their holiday season! None of this magic would be possible without the help and support of our customers, community, and business partners.
We receive lists with needs and wishes for each of these families vetted through Catholic Charities of Dubuque, and preparations have begun to provide magic to their holiday season. We strive to provide 10 gifts for each family member, which can include anything from necessities, such as socks to a wish list item, such as a kids’ bicycle. Each family has a tree, where the tags for their needs and wishes can be claimed by a community member and shopped for. Each of our retail locations will be hosting a tree, and we currently have 4 more families this year whose tree will need a sponsor.
If you are interested in partnering with us for this year’s holiday project, there are a few ways to get involved. Whether a monetary donation, hosting a family tree, or your team would like to shop for gifts, the result would be greatly appreciated by not only our team but the families we are serving.
